Asher D. Bonfoey (pictured above with wife Della), formerly a violinist for the Euclid Avenue Opera House, created the Bonfoey Company in 1893 on today's East 9th Street in Cleveland. One of the early clients was John D. Rockefeller who later introduced Henry Ford to the burgeoning framer.
